Since graduating as a Dramatherapist in 2005, I have worked therapeutically with a range of clients but I have been increasingly drawn to working with women who feel lost and empty, as I did before I began my Dramatherapy training. I know the power of this therapeutic art form to help women transform their lives and I have the tried and tested skills to help them.
Having spent time living and working in England, Germany, Czech Republic and Scotland (Shetland), I am now settled in Uckfield, East Sussex. When I am not working as a therapist, I can be found rowing, baking (German bread, cakes and biscuits a specialty), sewing, needlefelting, spending time with friends, discussing the meaning of life with my husband or walking with my family in the beautiful countryside around our home. You may also find me regularly barbecuing sausages and beans on our firepit in the garden in the middle of winter!
My passion for creativity and emotional well-being has also led me to set up Telling Tales Storyplay. I run storytelling and creative workshops for groups and individuals who want to be entertained and inspired, who want to delve into their imaginations and who want to explore their inner and outer worlds – in a safe and fun environment. I am registered as a Dramatherapist with the HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council, registration no.: AS08185) and BADth (the British Association of Dramatherapists). I receive regular clinical supervision and abide by the Codes of Conduct of the HCPC and BADth. I also hold an enhanced DBS certification and professional indemnity insurance.
