About Me

Hi, I’m Lucinda.

When I began my Dramatherapy training over 20 years ago, I didn’t know I was carrying my own blueprint of self-doubt, disconnection and unworthiness. I believed I simply hadn’t found the right job, partner, friends or place to live.

I expected my Dramatherapy studies to be playful and expressive and help me discover more about myself. And it was, and did, but, I discovered something far deeper…

….a way of working therapeutically that reveals both the roots of our emotional patterns — and a path towards healing them.

I came to realise how my early experiences had shaped the way I saw myself and related to the world. Creative, embodied work allowed me to work with and rewrite that blueprint.

Being outdoors was part of my childhood. I spent hours riding my pony over the Yorkshire moors, tending to sick animals and birds and marvelling at the beauty of the wild world outside my door. It was only as an adult that I consciously became aware of how important the natural world is to me and my well-being.

I have integrated my life experiences, interests and passions to create a therapeutic approach that can help others who feel lost, stuck or disconnected.

I continue to learn — about the human brain, relationships, the body, nature, and the forces that shape us individually and collectively. This curiosity and reverence for human complexity inform everything I do.

When I’m not working or looking after my family, you can usually find me walking my dog, Otto, rowing, baking, needle-felting or weaving.
